The Expert Working Groups: our think tankEWG 1: Quantity / Distances (Q/Ds)The Expert Working Group designated "IM Quantity/Distances and benefits for the Armed Forces" analyses the national and international rules concerning the quantity of energetic material reported to the recommended isolation distances in relation with IM characteristics.The Q/Ds EWG is to highlight the direct advantages, for the Armed Forces, of a classification for transport and storage specific to Insensitive Munitions. EWG 2: Test ProceduresThe Expert Working Group "Test Procedures" analyses the testing procedures, practices and assessment methodologies adopted in each country and proposes ways to harmonize the different requirements.EWG 3: Cost / Benefit AnalysisThe Cost / Benefit Analysis EWG promotes and establishes the state of the art of IM Cost Benefit Analysis.The EWG ascertains customer and user requirement and proposes implement refinements of the supporting tools if necessary. Ad-hoc temporary Expert Working Groups and Sub-Committees are created whenever necessary. |
